The Hindu Welfare Board has welcomed the formation of "Pakistan Hindu Mandir Prabandhan Samiti" recently constituted by the Imran Government of Pakistan. In India too, there was a demand to set up Devalaya Devasthan Prabandhan Samities in all the states under the Hindu Mandir Act and to facilitate the religious visits of Hindus by improving the visa rules of both the countries on the lines of Sh. Addressing to press in Chandigarh today, Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni, Chairman, Hindu Welfare Board said that Hindu Welfare Board has been working for the upliftment of Hindu temples in the country and their better management independently by Hindu religious beliefs for the last many years. We are demanding Devalaya Devasthan Prabandhan Samiti under the Hindu Mandir Act on the lines of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. In which in 2014, we wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, demanding this. In this sequence, he met the then Governor of Punjab and demanded it in the state through a written letter. In this sequence, former Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh, present Chief Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, President of Punjab Congress Mr. Navjot Singh Sidhu, President of Punjab BJP Mr. Ashwini Sharma, President of Aam Aadmi Party and Chief Minister of Delhi Mr. Arvind Kejriwal etc. prominent leaders of political parties Demanded this by meeting and through written letters to them. He said that till now no political party has done any work on this major demand of Hindus. Mahant Shri Ravi Kant Muni ji said that this major demand of Hindu society, which started from Patiala in Punjab, reached various parts of the country by organizations, individuals and rising above the limits. He said that under the pressure of Hindu society, the governments of some states did announce the independence of Hindu shrines, but for their independent management, till now neither any committee nor any plan or law has been made for their independent management. . He said that this major demand of Hindus has now crossed the borders of the country and reached the neighboring country of Pakistan as well. He said that Pakistan, which we consider as our enemy country, about which country there is opposition in the mind of the Indian public. In Pakistan, where there is a fear in the mind of almost every Hindu about the security and management of the Hindu society and our shrines, the Imran government of Pakistan has formed a samiti to improve the Hindu religious places in Pakistan and their better management and protection of the Hindu community of Pakistan, On the lines of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Pakistan Hindu Mandir Prabandhan Samiti has been constituted recently, which is welcome. He said that the work which has not been done by the Central Government or State Governments of our country so far, that work has been done by the government of the neighboring country, which is welcomed by the Hindu Welfare Board. He said that one should expect that now after the formation of the Pakistan Hindu Mandir Prabandhan Samiti, the people of the Hindu community in Pakistan can freely manage their shrines according to their religious beliefs, as well as for the betterment of the Hindu community living in Pakistan. Can do something He said that in our country, in many states like Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Hindu society is a minority. The condition of Hindu religious places and Hindu society is not good in these states. In many places, they are facing a lot of misery. Government officials, political people and land mafia are together crushing them. They are neither heard in any government nor any political party is ready to talk about Hindus and Hindu religious places. Through the media, we demand from the Central Government of the country and the State Governments, especially the Punjab Government, that the Governments of our country should learn from the neighboring country by forming Devalaya Devasthan Prabandhan Samities under the Hindu Mandir Act at the State level or Central level without any Rights of management of government or political interference should be handed over to the Hindus. Along with this, we demand from the governments of Pakistan and India that the pilgrims of both countries should be made easier by removing restrictions on their pilgrimages and religious visits by reforming the visa rules on the lines of Sh. Kartarpur Sahib corredor. So that the Hindus of both the countries can easily visit their shrines and undertake religious pilgrimages.
